Proverbs
Proverbs
are brief sayings which have in them some
concentrated wisdom, usually learned by experience.
One
first grade teacher wanted to teach her group of
6-year-olds some of our American proverbs. She gave
them the first part of a famous proverb and asked
them to finish the statement. This is what she
learned from her first graders.
